Vertech NZ is very proud to announce a two year extension to our Master Service Agreement with MODEC Management Services for the provision of Inspection, Testing and Rope Access services across assets in the Maari oil field which is located 80 kilometres off the coast of South Taranaki, New Zealand.
The Maari oilfield is the second largest crude field in New Zealand with total reserves estimated at 49 million barrels. The field’s assets are operated by Modec and owned by partners including OMV (69%), Todd Maari (16%), Horizon Oil (10%) & Cue Taranaki (5%). Production began in 2009 with Vertech providing support services to the field for the last 3 years.
