The Vertech Group has recently been awarded an exclusive Lifting and Rigging equipment inspection contract, considerably boosting our lifting inspection business. This has enabled some exciting growth within our lifting team, now holding over 30 years of experience in the industry.
Our high mobility LGI (Lifting Gear Inspection) Team are self-sufficient, carrying multi NDT, LEEA- lifting equipment diploma and IRATA certification, with skills to repair lifting devices (where appropriate) within the team.
The service deliverables for this contract are:
- Inspection work packs
- Thorough examination of lifting equipment certificates – compliance status
- Inspection data
- Client-specified tagging system
Vertech’s Lifting Equipment Inspection and Management Solutions software package, Viiper, could be implemented as the contract evolves to remove the management and administrative burden from our clients. These processes will result in a dramatic improvement in lifting/lifted equipment compliance and eliminate many common issues that occur with existing systems, such as:
- Multiple revisions in circulation at any one time
- Current revisions saved to local locations
- No automatic backup of data
